My First Heli-Flying with CanadianTV Journalists
It was 3pm on November 2, I was busy accompanying with Canadian Kevin James Fox, Damon Joseph and Taiwanese Chunyi Lin from New York in Kathmandu. They were a team from Karma Trekkers TV Show aired on different TV channles in about 45 countries. I shared my ideas of most important historical and cultural places in Kathmandu. I was a part of their team just only in Kathmandu. I was along with them in Kathmandu, Patan, Bhaktapur, Pokhara and Kavre, which were fascinating places for cultural heritages and natural beauties. It was one day before their departure for Canada after staying here in Nepal for eight days.
We together headed towards the domestic section of Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu. I made all the arrangements of flying in the helicopter around the Kathmandu Valley. We boarded on the Fishtail Air helicopter. The pilot flew over the concrete jungles in Kathmandu. The helicopter flew over magnificent Bhaktapur, Patan, Swambhunath and Pashupatinath Temple. Flying in helicopter, I felt, was less comfortable than the planes. However, it was exciting. Though it was too noisy and hot inside the heli-cab, I experienced very new moments of life.
It looks very wonderful as we see the things from above. We never felt and touch as we tread on the treasures but the sense of looking the same phenomena from above all earthly beings, I belive, is most enchanting and enlightening phenomenon for our spiritual eyes. ...
